Just when we thought the fun couldn’t get any funner! I will say, the moon is now going to be a definite deal breaker, at 89% full tonight, and moving on from there. However, I’m waiting for folks to mention that there’s a full lunar eclipse on the 7th. If you look at the sidebar widget, there it is. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be viewable from North America. Somehow, my widget isn’t set up to local time zones. I didn’t build it, so, I guess now I have to customize it. But, I don’t have time this week!
Here’s the GOES image. The black section at the bottom is the Coronal Hole. It’s basically a space in the gaseous mass that is the sun through which Coronal Mass Ejections, or just big ole massive clouds of plasma, can burp out and head into space. And maybe toward us! It will take a very strong storm to get through this much moon, and so far, we aren’t seeing any CMEs coming out of the hole. But, as always, I will keep you posted the second I notice one.
