Good evening and welcome to the official MABW forecast.

Current conditions: Solar Wind Speed: 529 km/sec
Solar Wind Magnetic Fields: Bt 9 nT, Bz -6 nT

That is a relatively slow wind speed, compared to what we’ve been seeing, though what we’ve been seeing has been insane. But, it’s still a little slow. Which may not be a bad thing. This is a reading that, with a clear sky and relatively little moon interference, you can get some mild level sightings on camera, if conditions hold into night time and you are not in a light polluted area.

It looks like we may have had an Interplanetary Shock picked up on the ACE readout- at least, that’s what it looks like to me. Here’s a screenshot of some spiking. I’ll get on and talk about what this all means soon, but for now, let’s get the forecast out.
