I keep saying I’m going to do this. So, time to start.

This is by no means a complete list: I’ll keep adding to it. One of the biggest complaints I get on the Facebook group is that we can’t pin content in a meaningful or easy to find way.

The Satellite Formerly Known As DISCOVR, NOW ACE, Real Time Solar Wind: https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/real-time-solar-wind

SWPC Space Weather Prediction Center Enthusiasts Dashboard (NOAA Three Day): https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/communities/space-weather-enthusiasts-dashboard

ACE/EPAM Real Time Solar Wind, Including the Low Energy Protons (you have to click on the panes to the right to select what you want to see on the data plot): https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/ace-real-time-solar-wind

Glendale Skye Aurora: This is the app that is available by direct download from the website of the same name, straight outta the Isle of Skye, if you are going to have one app to rule them all, this is the one I’d use: https://aurora-alerts.uk/

Spaceweather Live: The only reason I use this app is because they have a really good alert system that pushes out notifications on my phone of not just CME type action but also radio blackouts, which I also monitor. Everything else on the app is a NOAA feed, but NOAA hasn’t gotten around to building alerts for folks like us yet, and they probably won’t. I don’t like this app or website because of the insane amount of advertising, but the notifications don’t have ads: https://www.spaceweatherlive.com/

Time and Date: Night Sky Map, Moon Phases, etc: https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/night/

This is a fun one to do with kids- it does have ads, but they aren’t all over the place. You can click on the little buttons at the top to change what the planets are doing, such as size, distance, etc: https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/planets/distance

NASA What’s Up Video Series- this is a compendium of what’s coming up in the night sky every month, and moon phases: https://science.nasa.gov/skywatching/whats-up/

NOAA Space Weather Scales Explanation- (OMG I finally remembered to put this somewhere everyone can find it) This is what you need, the next time you are wondering what the alphabet soup is all about: https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/noaa-scales-explanation

Katahdin Webcams- This is in the links at the top of the blog, but for convenience, here: https://www.neoc.com/webcam3/
